With one hand, cleanly cut copper up to 400 MCM, and aluminium and multi-conductor cables up to 600 MCM. The unique ratchet action holds the cable tight and allows rapid, straight cuts with minimum effort. Hold open spring speeds the cutting action. The quick release lever opens the blade at any time during operation. Large, finger-formed handles have limit guards and plastic covering for comfortable, non-slip grip. This strong, light-weight tool can be locked in a closed position for pouch carrying. Length of tool is 255mm. This product is not designed for cutting steel or ACSR.
