All Clydesdale glassfibre ladders are constructed from non-conductive 84 x 30mm pultruded channel heavy duty section stiles with either 30x30mm pultruded box section glassfibre rungs or 32mm diamter round castellated aluminium alloy rungs. The rungs are fitted at 250mm centres with strong anti twist fixing joints. Heavy duty rubber feet are fitted to prolong ladder life. The ladders can also are fully repairable.

Double and triple section extension ladders are equipped with wall running wheels and an auto-clocking clutch mechanism whic arrests every rung. Rope operation is available - simply affix 'R' to the part number.

The ladders comply with all the relevant standards including ANSI A14.5, ESI 13.1 and are kitemarked to BS EN 131 whereby they are subjected to ongoing quality checks by an independant notified body as compared to a simple EN 131 one-off type test offered by competitor products.
