This unique patented roller (Patent Ref GB 2218858) has 2 adjustable angle rollers and 2 support rollers that allow the conductor to be brought in at final installation height and adjusted to any required angle alongside the insulator. At all times the conductor is fully boxed in and cannot escape. When adjustments are complete the locking pins are opened and the roller removed, leaving the conductor in its correct position on the insulator.
Ball race suspension assists smooth running of the conductor. The insulator clamps are specially treated with rubber so as not to damage the insulators. The roller fits all types of ceramic insulators. Roller weight is 6kg.
