The TAG 2000 device is designed to check absence or presence of nominal voltage by direct contact to the line. It is usually used prior to earthing operation of a three-phase voltage system. A sharp design, including specific configuration of sensors and digital processor, provides the required accuracy to face most field configurations.

The TAG 2000 can be used in all weather and at temperatures between -250C to +550C. The device features - A permanent standby mode, a sound indication beeper, light indication by 3 red lights, a built in _Allcheck' test feature, a 40mm _Y' shape contact probe (straight hook probe available), a 9V battery 6LR61 supply, a blue polycarbonate shell and weighs 0.270kg.

Essentially three detectors in once: One Red LED displays voltage in lowest set range, two red LEDs shows prescence of voltage in middle range and three reed LEDs shows prescence of voltage up to maximum setting. Eg on CLY 300 2001 model, one LED shows voltage from 3-5kV, two LED's show voltage from 6.6-11kV and three LEDs shows voltage up to 33kV. For the CLY 2002 model, one LED shows voltage up to 11kV, three LEDs show voltage up to 33kV. Other voltage ranges are available in ratio 1:4. Please contact us with your requirements.

Each unit must be equipped with an insulating stick with the minimal insulating length in accordance with the regulation in force. The device can be fitted to any insulating stick with universal (sunrise) end fitting or to any others by means of adapters.
