Clydesdale is able to supply its Air Break Switch Disconnectors with a choice of three types of insulator material Porcelain, Outdoor Epoxy Resin or Silicon Rubber. The Porcelain Insulators are of low weight design and provide the most traditional look of an Air Break Switch Disconnector. The next grades of insulators are cychloalifatic epoxy resin, are also of a low weight design and are less susceptible to damage through mishandling or vandalism. Finally the highest grade of insulator is of Silicon Rubber which has the lowest weight of the three grades and also the highest resistance to damage through mishandling or vandalism.
