The Clydesdale 132kV Crane Platform has been developed in conjunction with one of the UK's leading Distribution Network Operators to facilitate construction and maintenance of 132kV lines on wood poles where mobile platform access is limited.
The unit attaches to both a bespoke intermediate pole structures and terminal/angle H-Pole structures. The unit can lift conductor from the post insulator for insulator replacement or roller removal on new construction projects. An additional roller is fitted for use with a sash line to help manouevre the insulator.
The crane is equipped with three EN 795 Class A1 fall arrest points for added safety. SWL 550kg.
