This drumstand has been designed and manufactured for use on the rail network. It has been used extensively where either new aerial cables are being installed or replaced. It allows full tensioning operation to be carrried out due to the superlative braking system we have manufactured. The braking system incorporates a double caliper arrangement, hydraulically operated, ensuring full tension stringing. It can be operated from either side using the innovative brake application method. the whole unit is fully hot dip galvanised after manufacture.
