The TL1 has been developed by Clydesdale to provide a simpler way of pulling overhead lines up to final tension and then fitting preformed helical end terminations to the conductor.
The concept is to allow the pulling gear and come along to be offset from the conductor and insulator's axis to aid fitment of the preform to the tensioned conductor.
The TL1 has been destruction tested on a calibrated rig to give a Working Load Limit of 2000kg and is CE marked as a lifting accessory.
